Summary: The story focus on Kota Yabu who after 3 years meet his first love and try to correct the mistake that he did before by protecting him. In the process, he is also trying to solve who is that someone who start to ruined the life of those 5 individual who is engaged in an event happened 3 years ago.

Chapter 12
It's been 6 hours since Kei sleeps, Hikaru is assigned to take a look at him in his room and asked if he is hungry if he is already awake. He knocks on the door first and when no one answered he open the door where he saw no one in the bed. The blanket falls down from the floor and the bed is in messy. He went out and search for Kei, looking at every room inside that house, he found him in one room hugging a blanket in his arms and he knows that he is crying.
"If...if only I went back home early. If...if only... I... Came back then..."Kei cried whispering those words silently, sitting down in the dark corner of the room. Hikaru can say that it is his grandpa's room cause his things are neatly arrange, the books, the medical kit and also in his study table are books of medicines which are really thick and hard bound.
"K...Kei." Hikaru whispered but that husky voice seems like frightened the young guy. He knows that Kei startled and the look on his face shows that he is scared. When he first saw Kei again, the first thing that he noticed is the scar on his face that he really tried his best to hide on that mask. He doesn't talk that much with other people except for Daiki which is something he wanted to know why?
"Don't say anything about him. Act as if he is someone new to you."
"What do you mean? What happened to him? It seems like he is a very different person compare before."
"Details are not important but i am telling this to you for his own good. If you try to do something that will trigger his memory to comes back i will never forgive you."
"When he is gone, you are gone as well but after a month you came back as if nothing happened. There is something...fishy about that."
Whenever he try to touch him he will evade and a frightened look will be flash on his face. He doesn't like crowd and as much as possible he is trying his best not to make any contacts.
"I...I will not do anything." he assured so that Kei can be in relief. When they are talking with the other people who are visiting his grandpa, Kei didn't shed a tear yet, or he did but never show it to them. He is trying his best to be strong in front of others cause he didn't want them to worry about him but looking at him he is obviously trying hard to do it. "Did you...did you miss your grandpa?"
"I...I miss him so much." he cried. "I...i can't see him anymore. I... Will never see him anymore so... So..."
"I...I know that feeling." Hikaru said. "I have my big sister that I really love, she is my favourite actually. We always play to each other when i am young but when she reach high school she got sick and just stay in the hospital. We never play like we used to do but i always visit her and talk to her and so i really enjoy being with her. That time i am so ignorant and naive... I always told her about my dreams where she is included. Hearing that maybe hurt her coz that time she knows that she will never be part of those dreams anymore. That time she knows that her life is already counted. The next day i went back to the hospital and found out that she will never open her eyes again."
"Why do nice people die early? Why can't they stay longer? My grandpa...he is so nice and caring to me. He... He always think about me first before his own self. I..i don't know what do without him? I...I feel so alone already and I don't know how i will move on."
"Don't say that, you still have friends to stay with you. Maybe we are not as caring as your grandfather but we will accompany you till the end. I...i will accompany you till the end."
Kei wipes his tears away he feels better that he release what he is hiding deep inside his heart and its nice that Hikaru is there to talk to him when he is feeling down. "Thank you, Yaotome-san." he said sincerely.
As he stare at the younger guy in front of him, he feels a nostalgic feeling deep inside. He can remember a memory of his past that is the same as just what happened at this moment. He remembers when he is still in high school and he is looking for Kota and Keito who excuse themselves to buy something but they didn't come back, he didn't found them but he saw Kei crying all alone. Hikaru knows him but he has a feeling that Kei doesn't know him at all but seeing the latter crying like that makes him feel bad if he will just go away and don't comfort him. Always that time, he is wondering why Kota likes this girly looking guy. Why he is so obsessed about him that he always want to secretly watch over him, but that time he discovered the reasons why. When he said comforting words to him, Kei smiled back, a very sincere smile and then after that he said thank you so brightly.
When he smile he looks so pretty, but there is something more than that. His innocent look makes you think that when he start to say something it is the truth and not a lie. That time he didn't told Kota that he saw his princess crying because he knows that he will be worriedly sick and will not concentrate to what he is doing but that time he realized that his best friend really choose a great guy.

Kota punch so many times the wall of the hospital room where he is resting. He is blaming himself for the death of Kanata and hurting himself by doing that. Sano and Ono is with him and the doctor stop Kota from doing that to himself cause his hands are already wounded.
"It's not your fault Kota, Kanata jump on his own." Ono told him as he try to calm down and act as the old one among the 3.
"This is crazy... This is bullshit!" Sano shouted, even Ono told them to calm down he as well can't do it. He feels agitated and frustrated and mad after that happened and then that time he immediately caught Kota on his collar and wanted to punch the latter but Ono stop him to do that. "Yo...you...why didn't you tell us that the caller is contacting you? You know that Kanata is the first one who will die right? You know that right? Are you planning to hide it and just let us know that we will going to die next? You dumb asshole!"
"Stop it Sano! It is not Kota's fault."
"It's not? How can you say so?" Sano asked madly. "That time, this guy didn't do anything. He is a just a witness to what we have done. This coward just watch as his lover is been raped by us! Can't you see it... This guy could be that someone who is calling us and taking revenge! He is just pretending to be one of us and secretly doing his thing!" he continued and now he is really angry that he really wanted to punch the face of Kota.
Kota take off the hand of Ono that is holding his shoulder and immediately punch Sano on his face that makes the latter fall down the ground and cut his lips where blood start to flow. "Shut up!" he shouted. "I didn't do this. Do you think I have guts to do this kind of stuff? I...I didn't want Kanata to die. I didn't want anyone of us to die." he continued and then he sit down again. He covered his face with his hands and after that brush up the hair that is covering his sight. "I...I didn't like being the pawn of him. Among everyone of us the caller is targeting me, he wanted me to feel how painful it is, how hard it is to not save someone. I...I wanted to save Kanata...I really wanted to save him."
"Kota is not the mastermind here." Hiro suddenly interrupted the conversation. He knows about the news about Kanata jumping off the hospital building and kill his own self. "He will not do it besides...he didn't just stand there and do nothing. He is the one who killed Kei, he strangle him until he die."
"Hiro... You're late." Sano said.
"The caller psychologically attacked Kanata. Through mails and calls the caller tormented him telling him that he is a demon, he is a sinful person, no one will loves him because of his attitudes and he keep on reminding to Kanata about what we did to the past. Among the 5 of us, Kanata is the most affected by the sin that we did and among the 5 of us he is the one easily manipulated thought psychological means and because of pressure he jump off the building thinking that everything will end and solve by that." Hiro explained to them.
"Sakura... My friend said that Sakura is alive." Kota uttered.
"Sakura? That girl is alive?"
"Hikaru said that when he visit Kanata the other day he is acting strange and that time he mentioned about Sakura being alive . He saw him and his face shows that he is really frightened. I am not sure if this is true but then..."
"Sakura is dead i will stick to that. Maybe someone is pretending to be like her to frightened Kanata." Ono said. "I am already studying medicine when the time that we did that right? Of course I can say if someone is already dead."
"I will search for the culprit... I will definitely do that." Sano said and then after that he runs away. He can't stand talking to everyone when they can't say anything good. Now things are getting serious and they are talking about their own lives.
Ones Hiro visit Kanata's body and offer a pray he also leaves the hospital. His body will be sent to their house ones his parents come and take him home.
Kota wanted to leave already but before he left the hospital, Ono invited him for a talk. They went to the cafeteria of the hospital and they ordered some coffee. Ono knows that Kota is not in the mood of talking that time. He is still sulking about what just happened and his hands are bleeding but he doesn't want to check it in the hospital.
"Like what I said before I know how to look if someone is already dead and what happened 3 years ago I can confirmed that you didn't really kill Kei. He just loss consciousness but he is alive but knowing that he is in a life to death situation I really didn't care about. But thinking about it when Sakura's body is found out there is no other body with it. Tell me Kota, is Kei alive? Do you know where he is right now?"
"Kei didn't do it! Kei is not the one doing this!" Kota confirmed immediately. He knows that everyone is thinking that Kei is one possibility to be the one who is doing it and he wanted to make things clear. Kei is just a victim and until now suffering for what they have done. He didn't want him to be involve with this again, as much as possible he wanted to protect his existence.
"Calm down, I am not planning to do anything to him besides I know he is not that someone who is doing this." Ono told him. "He is alive right? Is he doing well?"
Kota is not sure if he can trust Ono. He is the leader of the group since he is the oldest and he acts so bossy and strict. He always shout and easily get mad. There are times that his temper is challenged and he throw his tantrums to Kota but he changes with that 3 years . He meet a girl that he really loves and then got married and now he has a son but his wife died because of murder and he raised his son all alone. His perspective in life change and when he experience losing someone because of murder he realized how much more pain Sakura's family suffer after seeing their daughter to be like that. He regret but its too late and so he just showered his love to his son giving him everything that he wanted in life, spoiling as long as he can.
"Kei is suffering from trauma." Kota started to talk. "but he loss his memories so he can't remember anything that happened that day nor the rest of his high school life. He didn't know anything... He can't remember me at all."

Amanda is taking a break and drinking coffee from the balcony when Daiki approach her and talk to her about Kei's situation. He knows Kei's mother and vice versa. Since the two are friends since elementary and Amanda also knows his parents.
"Are you planning to bring Kei with you?"
"Yeah... But he refuse." Amanda answered and the she look for a moment to Daiki. "You've grown a little from the last time i saw you and seems like you already recovered from what happened to you before."
"Don't open unnecessary topic." Daiki told her, he is trying his best to collect his temper. "I...will force Kei to stay together with me. I know this house is full of memory to him but there is no way he can move on if he will not leave. Memories are just tormenting and slowly can kill."
"I will not give up being Kei's mother. Besides he came from my womb and that connection will never be broken. Even he denies me so many times, even he reject me repeatedly i will run after him cause i don't want to live in regrets that i didn't become a good mother to him."
"I don't trust parents. They always said promises by they keep on breaking it."
"But you will be a parent someday."
"But i will be different...I will not be like my parents. I...I..." Daiki said but he didn't continue anymore. He said that he didn't want to talk about his parents but he open it up again.
"You are a nice friend to Kei, please continue taking care of him." Amanda said and she even nod her head low making Daiki uncomfortable. He stand up from where he is sitting down but he didn't immediately leave. He make a fist and even bite his lower lips. He smirked when something flash to his mind and realize how stupid and naive and ignorant his best friend is. "Your son... Even you abandon him never actually hated you. That's the reason I hate him. He is too nice to be true." he whispered but clear enough for Amanda to hear. After he said those things he leave her alone and went back to the room allotted for him to sleep.

Keito is laying on his bed while starring at the ceiling with nothing but the fluorescent lamp that is turned off. He sigh so many times and also roll on his bed from left to right as if he can't find a comfortable place to stay.
"Keito, is that your music sheet thrown in the fountain?" a girl asked. She is starring at the window for a while and saw some piece of paper floating in the fountain. A guy, who is also Keito's classmate check if it is owned by the latter and it is confirmed that it is his music sheet where his newly composed melody is written. Keito immediately get it wanting to save the papers but they are totally soak and is not usable anymore.
"Who throw Keito's music sheet?" someone asked.
"I don't know but he is not bullied like this before right?"
"The bullying start when he won the Music Making Contest where he become popular."
"Maybe someone who is jealous of his ability."
Keito is rewriting his composition in the cafeteria when Kota and Hikaru approach him and talk to him about the bullying that he is suffering. Actually he didn't told the two that someone is targeting him but since news flies fast they already heard it and asked him why he hides it to them. They tried their best to comfort Keito and tell him that everything's gonna be fine. But the next day, when Keito is on his way home he is cornered by some yankee guy and start hurting him. That continuous until he didn't go to school anymore because of fear and even how many times his best friend pursued him to go to school they can't really do it.
That time he also plan on stopping doing music even he really loves it besides his father is also against him doing it. All this time, he really don't approve about it because he wanted Keito to be someone like him. But after a week of not going to school, Hikaru visited him to his house and talk to him one on one saying that he can go back to school already cause the bullying is over. He doesn't want to believe at first but when he heard Hikaru's sincere words he already believe on it and went back to school. The bullying is gone and he have a peaceful life like what he have before but he feels that there is something happening behind his back.
"Is that really Sakura?" he sighed. "is she really alive? And if ever...why is he with Yuto?"

That continuous until he didn't go to school anymore because of fear and even how many times his best friend pursued him to go to school they can't really do it.
That time he also plan on stopping doing music even he really loves it besides his father is also against him doing it. All this time, he really don't approve about it because he wanted Keito to be someone like him. But after a week of not going to school, Hikaru visited him to his house and talk to him one on one saying that he can go back to school already cause the bullying is over. He doesn't want to believe at first but when he heard Hikaru's sincere words he already believe on it and went back to school. The bullying is gone and he have a peaceful life like what he have before but he feels that there is something happening behind his back.
"Is that really Sakura?" he sighed. "is she really alive? And if ever...why is he with Yuto?"
