Alright *stretches arms*
well, it's certainly been a long time since I've posted here. It kinda of died for me over the summer. I was always busy doing something, and lately I've been writing in my own personal journal so LJ has not been a prominent place for writing in my life, but I'm back. I'm going to start posting some more new things. I'm starting to find more new/neat (in my opinion) things lately... so here it goes. An update in my life of what I think is cool and new. Not that you care...
The Bugatti Veyron.
One of the most rad forms of transportation on the face of the Earth. It will do 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds, it has 1001hp, 4 turbo chargers, a W16 engine, 10 radiators, it sucks as much air into and out of the engine while doing it's record breaking top speed of 253mph as a human does in three days! It has two keys, one that lets you access the first 500hp that it has, and then a second key that retracts the rear spoiler and lets you have all 1001hp and read access to the 253mph top speed. All that and it's a comfortable Grand Touring car. All for about $1.2 million.
Until recently, the Veyron was the fastest production car that you could buy beating out the McLaren F1 of old, but now there's a new kid on the block: The Shelby Super Cars (SSC) Ultimate Aero.
This bad boy will do 256.18mph. A skinny victory if you ask me, considering the Bugatti Veyron beat the McLaren F1's 242mph by a more considerable amount. The Veyron is something you could drive almost every day. Just google it, and you will find that it has a real interior, adjustable suspension and many of the typical creature comforts that you will find in your own daily driven car. The Ultimate Aero seems to be much more of a purpose built speed machine and I highly doubt it will perform as the Veyron does. The Veyron is a Bugatti, which is owned and operated by Volkswagen, which means it's German and will go around corners. Very quickly. The Ultimate Aero on the other hand is American. It has a lot of power and is great at going in a straight line, but when there is a corner in the road, the Aero will be nowhere to be seen because it will be hiding behind the nearest rock in fear that it's inferior handling performance will throw it screeching off the road in a ball of flames.
In my mind I almost want to completely disregard this Ultimate Aero and pretend it never happened. It's ugly, it beat the Veyron by a cheap 3mph, and did I mention that it looks like a ricer piece of rubbish? At this point I am so worked up that my argument has probably begun to seem quite narrow minded, so I will stop.
What else is cool? Car interiors. The Pagani Zonda and the Spyker C8 have probably the coolest interiors ever.

Why aren't more cars like this? Nissans are unimaginably boring. I haven't been in a good one yet. Honda is getting there, VW's got it, and so does Audi... let's not even talk about american cars... *barf*
The problem here is that every car that has a nice interior, at least at the typical consumer level, is so industrial. It's black or tan. Nothing is pretty or interesting, well sometimes there's a sweet button, but I would really like to see some imagination here. It's like every car manufacturer starts with the same template and then has to make it creative. Why can't they start with a fresh slate and do something interesting that nobody has never seen before?
Cars aside. I really want a "wigger" or "loud" hoodie. I don't care what anyone says. I'm white and I think it's cool. This stuff is rad.
I don't really want the snake one, but get what I'm saying.
I am probably getting this jacket. I am pumped.
So. This is probably irrelevant because the only people who are going to read this are the people that happen to really influence my musical tastes. I almost never discover new music on my own. The one time I thought that I did I was on purevolume and heard The Secret Handshake. I showed it to B-watt and he was like, oh yea I saw that about a month ago. That's about how good I am at finding new music. I'll make this my shout-out of appreciation to those of you who hook me up, lead me on to, and tell me about new music. Thank you!
Brand New - The Devil and God Demo Tracks
*crazy awesome! I can't get over it and I really look forward to listening to more shoegaze
Coheed's new album is rich. I'm getting into it a lot.
Dashboard's The Shake of Poison Tree's is killer catchy
La Caution is very interesting. I was very pumped to get their Peines De Maures... album off of solarseek since it is not available in the U.S.
I'm really getting back into some of the older Mars Volta (Cassandra Geminni)
Catie got me into Michael Jackson this summer which is cool. Beat It is killer.
Speaking of MJ... Private is gangster. I can't stop listening to it.
I am also really enjoying the Radiohead catalogue. In Rainbows, Kid A, OK Computer, and Hail to the Thief alike. I think I may like Kid A the best since "Everything in it's Right Place" and "National Anthem" are songs that I used to listen to as a little skater kid in middle school. It takes me back in a good way.
Always the Sound of Animals Fighting
Alright, well thanks again to everyone who's pushing me musically!
There are few other things that were on my mind when I started this, but they have since left. Another time...
Okay.
Walk the walk. Talk the talk.
