I think only one person reads this anymore, but whatever I'll post this anyways.
Taking
Back Sunday's going on tour with Jimmy Eat World I guess. It doesn't
look like they're going to Florida; too bad. But anyways, I saw this
quote by some guy in TBS and I'd thought I'd share this with you (just you)...
"I remember in highschool,
the true measure of your 'scene
points' was having Jimmy Eat World's first album," Taking Back Sunday
frontman Adam Lazzara said. "A lot of the stuff we do, they wrote the
script for. When I first heard "Goodbye Sky Harbor" [from 1999's
Clarity], I was floored, and I've been trying to produce something like
that ever since. So to say we're excited is an understatement." The
moral of the story is if you haven't heard Jimmy Eat World's clarity
album (not their album with middle and sweetness nor the new one),
you're really missing out. It is quite the awesome cd. It's not totally
full of awe, it has just a small enough supply for it to be considered
"awesome". But, please hear it. It might be worth whatever pain it
takes to listen to it.
So I heard on the radio today
"Money for Nothing"
by Dire Straits, you know the song with the "I want my mtv" lyrics. But
anyways in the song they say the word "faggot" and it wasn't censored,
but they can't air the word
"faggot" in Green Day's "American Idiot". I thought that was really stupid.
