WOW look what I did!!!!
So I have decided to use this as my new school "blog" and I'm gunna put different things in it like..... finishing my story, "Guess the picture", and one of those picture word things (ya know the ones where they give you pictures and you have to figure out the word)....... Well anyways I figure this is a good reason to start up the story again. So have fun reading it......^_^
Chapter Two
Late Evening
Edge of Ukiyo Forest
InuYasha and the gang have come to the edge of Setsuna’s territory. Kagome senses a jewel shard nearby as they came closer and closer to the forest, so they set up camp and decide to go in search of the shard. They leave Kirara and Shippo at the camp and walk into the woods in the direction Kagome senses the shard. As the walk through the woods a heavy mist forms all around them, and before they know it they become separated.
Setsuna has decided to bathe in a hot spring to near her cave. She wants to wash away the blood that has covered her body. She undresses, taking off her torn blue suit and placing it on a rock by her cuffs. She lowers herself into the gentle water thinking of how great the warm water feels as it envelopes her body. She touches her side where Naraku lanced the skin. It is still soar and the water soothes it making her calm slightly. *I will have me revenge someday. I will get it back, I’ll be free.* She leans back and soaks her hair, rinsing away the dried blood. As she comes up she hears someone approach.
“Who is there? Speak!”-Setsuna
“It is only a humble monk. My name is Miroku. May I ask who you are?”-Miroku as he steps from the trees.
“I am Setsuna and this is my territory you have trespassed upon.”-Setsuna
“Ah I see you are a demon and a lovely one at that.”-Miroku
“Good eye monk, now tell me why you have come here.”-Setsuna
“Well,” He looks into her eyes and can’t help but tell her everything. “My companions and I have come looking for the shards of the Shikon Jewel as well as a powerful demon called Naraku.”-Miroku
“Naraku you say. Tell me why do you seek such a powerful demon as Naraku?”-Setsuna
“Many years ago he put a curse on my grandfather that has been carried down through the generations to me. Now I seek to destroy him and lift the curse. My companions have their own reasons for wanting him dead.”-Miroku
He continues to look into her eyes. He can’t help but stare at the red orbs surrounded by a gold rings that seem to go on forever. She stands and emerges from the water, reviling her white tail tipped with pale grey.
“You must be a wolf demon. But you are unlike any I have ever seen.”-Miroku
“That is because I am a White Wolf, pure of hatred and distrust. But that is no longer true because of Naraku. Come join me in the water, or will your companions worry and come looking for you?”-Setsuna
She looks up into his eyes holding his gaze and intensifying it.
“No, they will not come for me. I wish to hear more of you and Naraku.”-Miroku
She turns and steps back into the water, submerging her self once again. Then she turns to face him and coaxes him into the water with her fingers. He undresses and enters the water without a second thought. But Setsuna knows there is something that bothers him about this situation.
“So what happened between you and Naraku to cause you to form such hatred and distrust in your pure heart?”-Miroku
“I was born of him. He owns my soul but does not wield the power to control such a free spirit as that of a wolf. That is the only reason I am not at his side now doing his biddings. If I destroy him I will be completely free at last.”-Setsuna
“So you too want Naraku dead, you should join us in our quest. I’m sure the others would be happy to have you.”-Miroku
“No, I prefer to work alone.”-Setsuna
They look up and see a woman in peasant cloths standing on the bank.
“Miroku.”- Sango says quietly to herself. She thinks of what he said earlier that day when they were traveling on the road. Seeing Sango makes Miroku come partially out of the trance Setsuna had on him. Sango turns and runs into the forest.
“Sango! Wait, we need to talk.”-Miroku as he exits the water. “I must go now, maybe we will meet again.” He grabs his robes and runs after her. As he runs her puts on his black robe and catches up to her. Holding the rest of his robes in one hand he grabs her arm to stop her from running away from him. She whips around and looks into his eyes. She looks away and slaps him.
“Don’t touch me with those dirty hands.”-Sango
He releases his grip after seeing the pain in her eyes and hurt in her voice. She runs deeper into the woods. Miroku is left standing there confused and upset. Sango, blinded by her tears trips over some roots, and remains lying on the ground. She curls into the fetal position and continues to cry.
InuYasha hears crying and searches for the source of the noise. He finds Sango lying on the ground and cautiously approaches her. He kneels down by her side and reaches out with his hand, placing it on her shoulder.
“Sango? What happened? What’s wrong?” She didn’t answer him. “You don’t look hurt, at least not on the outside.” He makes an examination of her body for injury. “Well lets get back to camp.”
He tries to help her up but she just rolls into him and buries her face in his chest. He doesn’t know what to do in this kind of situation, so he picks her up and carries her back to camp, hoping to hell that Kagome is there. Shippo see them coming and is alarmed.
“What happened InuYasha?!”-Shippo
“I don’t know I found her like this. Kagome hasn’t come back has she?”-InuYasha as he places her near the fire.
“No you two are the first I’ve seen since you all left.”-Shippo
“Watch her I’m gonna go find Kagome. Maybe she can help; she is a girl after all. She might understand.”-InuYasha then he goes off into the woods in search of Kagome, leaving Shippo and Kirara to comfort her.
By the time InuYasha finds Kagome she had found Miroku. He was still standing where Sango had left him. Kagome tries to approach him but backs away after looking into his eyes. InuYasha looks at Kagome; she is standing with her arms drawn up close to her body. Then he looks over at Miroku who has a look of contemplation on his face.
“What’s with him?”-InuYasha
“I don’t know. I found him like that.”-Kagome
“That’s odd I just found Sango lying on the ground cryin’ her eyes out.”-InuYasha
“What?”-Kagome
“I took her back to them camp. I came out looking for you. I figured she’d talk to you, being a girl and all.”-InuYasha
“Do you think something happened between them?”-Kagome
“That would be my guess. Seeing how Miroku here isn’t fully dressed.”-InuYasha He lunges at him and shakes him violently. “What did you do? Answer me!”
“InuYasha stop. Can’t you see? Whatever happened affected them both very strongly. I wonder what it was.”-Kagome
“Come on Miroku talk!”-InuYasha
“It’s really not his fault. Ya know.”-Setsuna from a tree above them. They look up to see her perched on a branch of a strong willow tree. She jumps down landing gracefully on her feet.
“Who the hell are you?”-InuYasha
“Who am I? I should ask you that very question. This is my territory.”-Setsuna
Kagome looks at this strange demon and sees three jewel shards. *She has jewel shards. Is she the one we were looking for?*
“We were looking for a demon.”-Kagome
“Well you have found one, so now what will you do?”-Setsuna
“Damn you, what happened to him you seem to know.”-InuYasha
“You would be wise to watch your tongue when talking to me. I could kill you with a single strike of my hand.”-Setsuna
“I’ll talk to you how ever I damn well please.”-InuYasha
“InuYasha stop. Could you please just tell us what happened here.”-Kagome
“Well your friend and I were talking when some women came along. I believe he called her Sango. Well she ran and he pursued. She seemed a little upset about something. After that I haven’t got the slightest as to what happened.”-Setsuna
“Well why would seeing you two talking bother Sango so much? Unless something happened between them that we don’t know about.”-InuYasha
“It is possible; they are alone together quite frequently.”-Kagome
Setsuna walks to Miroku and stands in front of him, then reaches up and touches his face.
“Huh what’s she doing?”-Kagome
She then speaks his name softly and as if on command Miroku blinked and looked around. Setsuna steps back form him and he looks at Kagome and InuYasha.
“Where is she? Is she alright?”-Miroku
“It’s okay Miroku, she’s fine.”-Kagome
“I found her; she’s back at the camp with Shippo and Kirara.”-InuYasha
“I must go to her.”-Miroku
Then he throws his remaining robes to the ground and begins to run into the woods only to be stopped by InuYasha stepping in front of him.
“You’re the last person she wants to see now. Stay here and finished getting dressed. Kagome can go check on her. As for you…..”-InuYasha he turns to where Setsuna was standing. “Huh where’d she go?” *I didn’t even hear her leave*
“She just disappeared.”-Kagome
