EDIT: The number of these 'gifts' is a bit too large to be a random occurance. Planned attack, anyone?

EDIT 2: Community's back to moderated posting and membership. Don't we all love maturity in opposition?

Attack as in the comments in this, and the gifts. Great how everyone else can use the term of "spam attack" and not get mocked but we're not allowed to. Loving the hypocrisy here.

I didn't see the spammy comments. Must have missed them.

But the gifts? It's absurd.

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and thinking perhaps I simply didn't see something contentious. But given what I do see? Yeah, I'm a little put-off by the attitude taken by this apparently 'free speech' community.

I stay because I'm interested in fandom, and because I care what happens. But to expect everyone to agree with all of this is naive at best.

We don't expect agreement, we expect tolerance. People can post their opinions reasonably, which they have been doing, as long as they're not insulting or otherwise offensive. You, 21grams, are offensive and insulting. We don't make exceptions to the rules of conduct here.

I don't find her offensive as much as stupid and wanky.

V-gift spam is plain nasty:
1) There's no way to block it. It doesn't even take any notice of the recipient's ban list.
2) It appears on the profile in a more prominent location than the description itself. Get enough of it, and someone viewing the profile will just see the title and icon, then a wall of v-gift spam.
3) As far as I can tell, there's no limit on the number of v-gifts displayed on someone's profile.
