I have what is, perhaps, an ignorant and/or naive question:
Radio stations and TV stations are held accountable for the content they air, because they CHOOSE what content to air.
But AT&T is not held accountable for the content of individual's phone calls, nor is AOL held accountable for the content individual's e-mails.
So why would LJ/6A be held accountable for the content of individual's posts?
And I ask this as we are all looking forward to a journaling site that gives us more freedom of expression than we are currently getting here.
And I'm wondering if there aren't reasons to house servers or incorporate a non-profit company in a country other than the U.S. - a country that isn't currently intent on chipping away at our civil liberties as a dentist would plaque?
