Sounds like an episode of grand designs. I guess you have to look at your situation as a lucky chance to start over, instead of being trapped, the way so many people feel. I know it doesn't change a thing or make anything simpler, but maybe it makes it a little less scary. I have always admired your unconventional thinking! Will your mom be able to watch the kids if you work full time?
