So, yesterday was the burial ceremony, which i had to ditch school to see. Of course, it was all very sad, very dramatic, very empty without Mark, but all i can say is that at the end, i had a slight sense of relief. I felt glad that the whole thing was over, and i felt like Mark had finally been put somewhere to rest...no more of the constant worrying over funeral arrangements-now he can just wait in his resting spot until the rest of us join him. It was a fabulous ceremony..the first funeral i've attended, and i hope the last for a long long time. I still think about him so many times a day though...it's the green. It's always the green that reminds me of him...i still miss you, buddy.
On a different note, TAKING BACK SUNDAY and JIMMY EAT WORLD last night!!!! woo hoo. god, so many battle wounds, and i LOVE it. The music was fantastic, the stage performance was great, and it was just the perfect way for me to kick some people and get rid of all the stress that's been building on me lately. I'm very greatful for that night. I hope the rest of you enjoyed it too. Until later...
