AND THEN...
OKAY. So I mentioned Glass no Kantai in yesterday's post, but I decided it REALLY needed to be screencapped to illustrate just how terrible and fabulous it is (perhaps those two words conflict somewhat but suffice to say that this is one enjoyable series so far and I have hopes that it will get better). The majority of episode 4 consisted of a fight (A FOEMANCE VISIBLE FROM MILES OFF), and the best moment of the entire episode? THEIR CLOTHING LITERALLY EXPLODED.
AS IN, THEY WERE FIGHTING WITH SWORDS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN...
I suppose the best way is to provide an example.

And according to the requirements for a true foemance, they then proceed to...flounder around in the snow trying to reach each other and continue their fight, before various parties intervene and stop them.
I like that the sudden nudity was clumsily disguised as AN IMPORTANT PLOT POINT as we discover that Creo has a LOT of scars and Vetti is partially metal. I DEMAND BACKSTORY.
There was also an EPIC moment where, during their continued fight after they get back to their ships and PUT SOME CLOTHES ON AGAIN, the two ships pass in the air and there is this crowning moment of foemance where everything slows down and they see each other as they go past. I laughed aloud so many times this episode. How did it take me so long to find this series?
