Transformers: The Movie
I was going to write a post about this, honestly!
It was going to praise the childish humour at the same time as wondering why they felt the need to add all the sex references and tooliet gags that made it a 12A. It was going to talk about the weird choices they made about languages and wince at the all-too-commonplace racial stereotyping.
It was going to praise Bob almighty that they managed to do away with the fucking pink boobbot (I could, in fact, write an essay on how much I hated her very existence when I was a kid - I mean, her name is British slang for "a little bit naff", FFS), and mention how the human chicks-with-useful skills would be a lot coller if one of them actually put her useful skills to use and the other wasn't sexualised in EVERY SINGLE SHOT.
...but then there was this kick-arse death battle with giant robots and I forgot everything intelligent I had to say.
