Farenheight 9/11
So I saw the movie last night and it was amazing. Everyone should see this movie. I don't care if you love it or hate it. If it makes you hate Bush even more, or if you come out fuming about "those damn liberals". It's not about agreeing or disagreeing, it's about educating yourself, and hearing what people have to say.
My opinion of the movie. I have entirely different opinions about the first half and the second half of the movie. First half was amusing and informative, and disturbing, but it took an awful lot of crap shots. I mean, we've all seen Bush looking like a dumbass, we know he excells at it. Moore makes him look like such an idiot at times though that I actually felt kind of bad for the poor dumby. Also, I would have liked to see more support for the accusations he made. He does an awful lot of vilifying, which I didn't think was neccessary. The second half of the movie, however, was masterfull. Without a doubt the most heartwrenching thing I've ever seen. Very graphic fotage from Iraq, be warned, it is not an easy thing to watch. For me and the people I went with it didn't change any opinions, we all already think that the bush family is the worst thing to happen to this country. Hopefully though, more concervative people will see it as well and they will be forced to think about what is truly best for this country.
