There don't seem to be any disk errors, but booting into safe mode still gives me weird (though different) errors. Assuming I find my install disks tomorrow, I'm just gonna wipe it and reinstall. Bah.

Good news: I at least feel like I accomplished something useful and slightly cool at work today.

New experimental gmail feature helps prevent you from making drunk emails you may later regret.

While a noble gesture, I think this feature would be even more useful (to me) if applied to amazon and insound.

I used some birthday money to finally do something about using a long wire to connect my laptop to my stereo.  The wire draped across the room was always annoying, and that's also what caused the static shock that blew out my previous receiver.  So anyway, I wanted some way to wirelessly play audio from my laptop on the good speakers ( Read more... )
