The Drive-By Truckers have had to cancel the rest of their European tour and their holiday shows because the whole band has been sick and then last night Cooley collapsed and the doctor advised complete bed rest. D: MIKE COOLEY. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING. I WORRY.
That's pretty much the most exciting thing I came across today. Work is...well, it's work, though things have improved a little bit from the suck that was going on back in September. Today we had an all-staff meeting about how low morale is. That was great.
Eliza Dushku has a new pilot. Relevant to some of your interests: she plays a cop.
Things I keep meaning to post about: this series of books I read as a wee Night that influenced me a lot fictionally (and explained to bb!me how girl/girl sex works); my adventures with online dating sites (spoiler alert: most of them end with me staring blankly at a wall and reaffirming my commitment to misanthropy); why Pete/Mikey domesticity fic is pretty much the best thing ever and there should be more.
Alas, I have a headache, and I'm going to go make ravioli and garlic bread, so none of these shall happen now. Excelsior.
