You guys, I've been trying to start this stupid sweater for WEEKS (there kept being yarn disasters, it's a long story) and today I FINALLY got the right yarn and got it cast on and the gauge is right and I happily knitted seven rounds and it looks AWESOME

Oh my god, yes. It's like part of the official instructions are "tear it all out."

And then the yarn gets all roughed up and fluffy from being ripped out and IT WILL NEVER BE PERFECT AGAIN. ::single tear::
