You guys, I've been trying to start this stupid sweater for WEEKS (there kept being yarn disasters, it's a long story) and today I FINALLY got the right yarn and got it cast on and the gauge is right and I happily knitted seven rounds and it looks AWESOME...
...and you know how the VERY FIRST INSTRUCTION of knitting in the round is "being careful not to twist"? Yeah, guess what I just realized I did.
::screams forever, rips it all out::
At least I know I have the right yarn and the gauge works? LESS COMFORTING THAN YOU MIGHT THINK.
Knitting is a terrible hobby. But then, so is writing, so maybe I'm just a masochist.
