Aug 04, 2007 23:05

Well, it's tomorrow in HER timezone, so...Happy birthday to likeadeuce! I hope it's a great day, darling. :)

Extended Marvel Movieverse, specifically X-Men and Fantastic Four with a dash of offscreen Iron Man. :) That is to say, Scott Summers, Reed Richards, and special guest Tony Stark.

Thanks to sionnain and romanticalgirl for beta passes.

Omg this was perfect and it is exactly like how you were telling me it would be all those weeks ago. Simply brilliant.

Poor Tony. He should've known they wouldn't do his version of fun.

I really wonder how Jean and Sue faired in Paris. With Emma. :g:

I told 'Night, I'm pretty sure he did know -- deep down. Otherwise, he would have gone with them.

Also, we decided that Tony WOULD introduce his dorky friends to Cap, who would proceed to get deeply involved in conversations about boring topics, while Tony made, "STEVE! THESE GUYS ARE NOT COOL!" hand signals.

You know they have hand signals.

Hee.

I can see Reed and Scott debating whether that tall blond muscular guy Tony's hanging with is actually Captain America's secret identity, or if Tony's just got a fetish.

"Reed, it's *Tony Stark*. He doesn't hire *imitations*."

Steve and Scott would end up talking motorcycles, while Tony and Reed drifted off into a long argument about some scientific/engineering thing no one else could understand. Hand gestures would be involved. Really expansive, stretchy hand gestures.

Oh, Tony totally would.

And Steve would ignore him, because Steve is quite geeky in his own man-out-of-time way.

Tony SECRETLY wishes he was unselfconscious enough to live the geek life. Way deep down. :)

And thanks!
