Well, it's tomorrow in HER timezone, so...Happy birthday to
likeadeuce! I hope it's a great day, darling. :)
Extended Marvel Movieverse, specifically X-Men and Fantastic Four with a dash of offscreen Iron Man. :) That is to say, Scott Summers, Reed Richards, and special guest Tony Stark.

And of course Iron Man is behind everything. . .
Man, I'm afraid to start quoting all the great lines in this --
"It's a combination of several complex feminine-coded interpersonal dominance dynamics, a strong desire to maintain face in front of a rival, and the chance to go shopping bankrolled by Tony."
"Of course not, Richards, don't be crazy. Spying's what you do to your enemies. When it's your friends, it's judicious monitoring in their own best interests."
"It's probably less awkward this way."
And the argument about cultural imperialism! And Scott's many ingenious ways of figuring out how not to talk on the phone to Tony.
Perfect!

Omg this was perfect and it is exactly like how you were telling me it would be all those weeks ago. Simply brilliant.
Poor Tony. He should've known they wouldn't do his version of fun.
I really wonder how Jean and Sue faired in Paris. With Emma. :g:

Also, we decided that Tony WOULD introduce his dorky friends to Cap, who would proceed to get deeply involved in conversations about boring topics, while Tony made, "STEVE! THESE GUYS ARE NOT COOL!" hand signals.
You know they have hand signals.

I can see Reed and Scott debating whether that tall blond muscular guy Tony's hanging with is actually Captain America's secret identity, or if Tony's just got a fetish.
"Reed, it's *Tony Stark*. He doesn't hire *imitations*."
