how is it that I can go weeks without seeing a show, and then, almost without fail, there are 2 or 3 bands I'd like to see, playing on one night.
- This Friday: Rocky Votolato and Slender Means at neumo's vs. Say Hi to Your Mom at Vera
- 4/21 pulling hangnails and hitting my head against broken glass vs. Seven Mary Three at El Corazon
- 4/28 Aqueduct & What Made Milwaukee Famous at the Croc vs. Sloan at Neumos (Aqueduct has an early show option, though I already have a ticket to the late show. Also, there are some other good shows this same night, that are a road trip away)
- 4/30 Viva Voce at the croc.(no competition that I can think of, just thought I should remind myself that this is happening.)
- 5/4 Decemberists at the Paramount (I have tickets) vs. Slender Means at Easy Street West Seattle after hours. Not in the same running, but at some point, I'd also like to take in Llama and/or Sgt. Major who are playing the comet that night; I think there's a connection to Flop, somewhere.
- 5/5 Andrew Bird at the Showbox vs. Ozma at El Corazon. Not really a problem for me, but I'd sympathize with
ozmafan if she weren't so ready for a road trip any day, any time.
- 5/11 Posies at the Triple Door.
- 5/17 Awesome at neumos
- 5/19 Nelson Sings Nilsson at the Triple Door
- 5/20 Gibbard, etc. at the Showbox
- 5/26-5/27 Sasquatch at the Gorge
- 6/7 I turn 28. holy shit.
- 6/9 The Wrens and Say Hi To Your Mom at the croc
