The alternate title for this post: I'm going to try to win NaNo.
My NaNo #2 story sits at 13228 words right now. That leaves me short 36762 words with only three days to write them. That's 12254 words per day, or roughly 50 pages.
I'm a slow writer. Have I mentioned that before?
But I'm going to win NaNo this year. I might be a drooling, slack-jawed mess when December 1 rolls around, but I'll be a drooling slack-jawed mess with a completed manuscript.
I just put on some coffee. Let's see how much I can write before collapsing bed.
ETA: I'm going to keep updating my word count in this post until the very last one before I go to sleep. Then I'll make a new post.
Another reason I'm so determined to finish NaNoWriMo? Because way back in October, I decided that my reward for finishing would be a netbook. If I don't finish, the money I put aside for the netbook will be used for paying bills...
