can you feel this? my heart is bleeding through
this makeshift bandage; i'm just not healing from you.
your words tear like bullets, sear heat through my skin.
leave gaping wounds dripping. wreak havoc, wreak havoc within.
there are holes in my framing, my pieces are missing.
this puzzle, it ain't fitting.. my insides are ripping.
your arms shred like barbed wire, cause an empty embrace.

you infest me as shrapnel; leaving shards, shred my will.
though i rip out the pieces, you're too deep in me still.
