NYC was a blast. i think we spent about two hours wandering around the virgin store drooling over everything. found some CDs i NEVER would have expected to find in any sort of commercial CD store. went to some hippy/anti-war protest/art show thing in the park.. definitely cool. definitely got rained on. at one point, t&i were holding hands and skipping down the street (because we're awesome losers) and an older gentleman with a couple cameras around his neck stopped us and asked if he could take our picture, because we were such a "good looking, interesting couple" (i think this has a lot to do with the fact that i am 5'4" and he is 6'9") ..strange, but amusing. roger and lucy were cracking up the entire time, and lucy is convinced that our picture is going to end up on some pro-birth control add sometime in the near future. hahaha. the show was fun. otto's was the cutest little tiki bar ever.. i spent the night in the back with ms. lucy, drinking zombies, bitching about the HORRIBLE sound. so uh.. pretty typical goners gig.
so, all in all.. amazing weekend. going back to reality = not so fun, but this weekend is boston.. so at least there's something to look forward to.
