Victoria Park as your front yard makes for some relaxing weekends and although I haven't utilised the whole park as much as I should while I'm moored alongside it, I have wandered around small parts of it a couple of times. I've only managed the promised daily walk into the office once though; don't think less of me, it's really cold and I'm lazy :)
Karen and Tony walked across the park for a visit with their niece on Saturday morning, she'd already fed the ducks and watched a boat go down the lock. By the time she'd mauled a hamster and sat on a boat it must have felt like Christmas all over again for her.
Sunday was spent trying to catch up on a couple of weeks Spanish revision with no great result. I seem to be getting worse at this language lark and not better. Oh well, school starts again tonight and the most positive thing I can say about that is, I can only improve from here can't I?
