Happy birthday, Phin!
In honor of 
phineasjones's birthday having just started, it's Sherlock Holmes picspam time. My birthday wish for Phinny is that everyone magically falls into the SH fandom today. And then turns around and writes dozens of beautiful stories about these lovelies.
So here's my shove towards that tipping point.
This photo makes me want to read the Adventure of the Rainy Tuesday, in which Holmes has no cases and Watson is forced to lounge with him on the couch for a whole afternoon to stop him from turning to cocaine as he is wont to do. In this picture, we see Holmes teaching Watson the art of slouching. Pre-slash, 2,000 words, warning for shmoop. Ok?
If they don't have a couch, they're perfectly happy to lounge in eachother's laps. Or at least lean.
This picture is from the Adventure of the Amazing Hair Product, in which Holmes begins using an incredible hair tonic (coiffe pictured here) acquired during his travels which increases his deductive reasoning powers tenfold, which allows him to finally realize that Watson wants to jump his bones. Y/Y?
OMG I love them. How amazing is Rachel McAdams? Can we please have more fic where Mary is swept off her feet by Irene Adler and together they build a beautiful life of crime stealing from rich fat cat industrialists and using the money to care for troubled youth and stray kittens?
Holmes' housecoat! I think it doubles as Gladstone's chew toy. Either that or Holmes has kept it from the Incredible Case of the Bear Mauling.
The Adventure of the Cranky M.D.: I think this should be sexpollen crackfic involving a contaminated pipe and the hijacking of a French freighter.
