My dreams mean business

May 28, 2009 20:32

Had some very zombie-heavy dreams last night. My family and I were in a city that was almost like Newcastle, and there were zombies. But they only came out after sunset (... vampire zombies?) and during the day the surviving humans crept out and looted shops and found places to live. And then there was some black-and-white film reel business about the guy who broke the speed record for things on train tracks living in Newcastle, which was somehow relevant to escaping the city, since there were rumours that other places were still 100% human friendly. But trains were infrequent. We decided to stay in Newcastle to see if things got better.

Also, I had to share a room with my brother, and got annoyed that he hadn't brought anything personal with him (but he had brought many, many guns) and kept running out to deliberately fight zombies like he wanted to get infected.

So. There was that.

Today has been low-key, highlights include going to lunch at the Italian cafe across the streets with girl!housemate and Johnny Cash!housemate and trotting in to town to get my dad's birthday present. FUN TIMES, I HAS THEM.

Tomorrow, operation Make Room Habitable Again followed by revision for War Fiction. Awesome.
