Friday night was really cool - we went out for Dani's birthday, starting in our house (where we got into discussions about vitamins for some reason and compared favourite Disney movies. And the majority of the room was male, so that was kinda awesome) and moving on to a bar and then World Headquarters for dancing and fun dancefloor-game playing.
After Ben lost his phone and two of the guys were leaning against the wall to keep from falling asleep, we called it a night and got a taxi back to our house where me and skinny!Matt got into a conversation about bacon, which lead to him cooking bacon at 2am and making sandwiches for all of us. Then we ordered spontaneous pizza, watched YouTube videos, chatted and then came to regret the pizza which, luckily, never arrived.
In the morning (10am!) we were all up and went out for breakfast before everyone else headed off to rehearsal and I went home to discover that three boys sleeping in a room leads to a really, really unpleasant smell the next day.
Saturday itself was a bit of a write-off... I mostly watched Criminal Minds and wrote more of my Drama Festival play (20 pages!) whilst listening to quiet acoustic music.
Today, I braced myself and got all caught up on Battlestar Galactica, and even though I knew what was coming I still sobbed through the entire last seven minutes of "Blood on the Scales". The next episode made up for it by giving me enough Extended Study fodder to distract me. Though if I can write 5,000 words about the cyborgic nature of Felix Gaeta vs his inherently Enlightenment based/rational actions throughout the series I SO TOTALLY WILL.
Anyway. Now I have to find things to do that don't involve finishing A Farewell to Arms and go to bed. :)
