RE-ISSUE K.C. ACCIDENTAL (THE TWO ANTHEMS). COMING IN NOVEMBER 2005.
10/19/05
Noise Factory will be re-issuing the two K.C. Accidental albums Captured Anthems for an Empty Bathtub and Anthems for the Could've bin Pills, in one 2 Disc jewel case. Both releases are finally being brought together under one package. This was always the intention.
K.C. Accidental is Broken Social Scene and with all the attention the band is gathering for their recent more commercial releases, we have decided to re-issue these earlier largely instrumental releases (with the exception of Emily Haines vocals on Pop Song #3333) with new packaging. Our hope is that people will discover the brilliance of these otherwise unheard of releases. Some consider these releases to be superior to their more recent work as Broken Social Scene. All we can say to this is listen to the album and decide for yourself.
(In my opinion you will be hard pressed to find more beautiful, gut wrenching instrumentals than the compositions Kevin Drew and Charles Spearin created for Anthems for the Could've bin Pills).
