I love to watch the Food channel; it's like kid-friendly pr0n, the whole family can gather 'round and watch Ira mix-up Halloween-themed buttercream frosting (with the afore mentioned five sticks of butter). And now I have this urge to bake something.

• NaNo is progressing "well" and as long as I keep to my 3,550 words a day schedule, I'll hit 50,000 on Friday
• I have two dogs in my apartment and it feels like I have four
• We finally have internet at the office and my productivity levels have dramatically decreased.
