The weather here continues to be freakishly pleasant. It's August; the weathermen should be talking about heat index values at or above 100 degrees and disgusting air quality. The thought of having to go outside should induce grimaces of pain and shudders of revulsion. A low of 49 degrees (in Mount Airy, but still) is just unnatural. The only normal thing about this month is the lack of rain and the mosquitoes.
I have about 6 bites on my leg after being outside on my steps for about 10 minutes yesterday evening. Leaving the house this morning without making use of the foul-smelling Caladryl was a mistake.
Oddly enough, they are a good distraction. Hard to notice how much crap I feel like when I'm muttering "mustn't scratch, mustn't scratch" under my breath all day.
Logged in to FFXI before I was bitten by mosquitoes. Only thing done was digging, and everything but the NPC'd items is still sitting in my inventory.
Going to pump up my cash volume for the rest of September, but after that, I'm going to get rid of most of the newer mules. Checking 15 plants every single day just sucks, as does needing 15 stacks of water crystals almost every week.
This is my last night with my son, and I'm barely going to have any time with him. Get off work, 2 buses to go rent a car, off to the store to pick up whatever doesn't get get delivered, home, make the boy bathe (which is not difficult if I let him actually have a bath and not just take a shower), get his things together, eat dinner, and get him to bed at 9. After which I have Limbus.
