The curtains are drawn, there's nothing much done to the door... ... except that it's locked. Bolt and chain sort, but locked nonetheless. If today is not the day to return home, then that's fine

[It's okay that the door is locked...because the Joker skipped work today. He's been down in the basement all day, and when he comes up into the house it kind of looks like someone's been through it.]

Oh no, did they find me? [He says it in an exaggeratedly worried voice, placing his hands to his cheeks.]

Come out, come out wherever you arreeee~ [He chants as he begins flitting about the house...seemingly unarmed.]

[ Dangit lazy husband not making any money for this family!

The voice catches Parsee's attention, who had headed back upstairs to take another look around. She wants to see who it could be, though she's cautious at the same time, taking her time to go to the top of the stairs to see if she can see anyone from them. ]

[She'll see the Joker kind of dance out of the kitchen, looking around a bit before his eyes move to one of the "family" pictures on the wall.]

Oh...that's not the same creepy woman. Who changed that?

[He then turns slowly, his eyes moving up the stairs.]

[ The pictures had gone unnoticed to Parsee, one of the few surprising things that did. She hadn't noticed them on the walls, and her eyes had followed his for a moment when he looked. She couldn't make them out clearly from where she was, but she didn't have time to look long enough when he began to turn.

She decided not to move away or to hide, instead stayed at the top of the stairs. She wanted answers. ]

[The second Joker saw the woman, the information clicked. The pictures were a good indication of who was assigned to the house.]

Oh, that is just brilliant! They don't just put you in with a creepy fake family...they force people to pretend to be families! HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!! It's like some kind of twisted social experiment!

[Obviously without fear, The Joker dances his way up the stairs toward Parsee.]

So, I guess that means you just got here, am I right? Feeling confused? A little panicked? Oh, you're prettier than the one that was here before, too.

[ Yamame was lively, but this guy was something else. Nuts? She wanted to go for nuts when he was prancing around like some... thing. ]

[The Joker has reached a point of being withing arm's length of Parsee...but he really does nothing. He just looks her up and down.]

I'm going to level with you...you've gotta share a house with me! You are even put into the role of the loving housewife.

To be quite honest, I don't want to do anything to you. You're the only one at this point that knows where I am. So, you get off scott-free! Haha!

I want to see where this little social experiment is going to go. So, feel free to do whatever you want!

[ And even if he did do anything, Parsee knew that her powers were... elsewhere. Yamame's words had been hard to digest, but she had known soemthing to be wrong ever since she woke in this place.

Didn't mean she couldn't try bluffing if she had to, though.

And this guy was still weird. But, he was the only one there... ]

Hm, well, if you're going to answer me... who brought me here?

We don't know who brought us here, what they're plans are, or what the point of all of this is! A kidnapping without an end purpose, not even murder!

Now THAT'S funny! [The entire time the Joker is speaking, he's more or less twirling around Parsee. Yes, he's always this weird.

Suddenly his hands are on Parsee's shoulders from behind her. He leans down so his face is next to her ear and speaks quietly.]

And as far as I know there's no way out. They've got us trapped like rats with nothing to our names but...well...our names! Haha!

[He then lets go, and calmly walks toward the stairs this time, stopping to lean on the handrail.]

Oh, and if you're wondering where the children are I've got them tied up in the basement! They were just...too creepy, even for me. You can go down and fetch them if you want...just don't touch anything else down there. Most of it is pretty lethal! Hahahahahaha!!

[ Once he walked away, Parsee rolled her shoulders, not happy to have been touched and to be up so close like that. Whichever way he turns, Parsee makes sure to face as well, not wanting to keep him out of her sight. He's still odd, yet there's something about this oddness to him that's actually fascinating to her. He wasn't anything like the other humans she had met. ]

Tying up children and making dangerous things... are there many humans like you?

[ Seeing no reason to stand where she is, she takes a step over to the banister, placing her own hands onto it while continuing to speak ] You're nothing at all like the other humans that I met, and they were pretty weird themselves.

[ A curious smile slips onto her face. ] But a human tying up human children doesn't sound normal at all.

I'd like to think I've surpassed the binds of humanity. I guess since you're asking, you probably don't know much about humans. Let me tell you I'm not really the model example! Haha!

[The Joker shrugs as he speaks, a dismissive gesture to show he's essentially proud of what he is. As proud as an insane man could be, anyway.]

No, I'm an example of when a human's mind snaps! A few bad things happen, or a human loses everything, or a loved one, or maybe even their own children or something...then they realize what a sick joke the world is and BAM! [The Joker accentuates that by slamming his fist into his open palm.] ...you've got yourself a wack-job! Hahahaha!!!

But, I don't just tie up children and make dangerous things, oh no! It's all for a purpose. It's all for a grand show to let everyone else see what I see! Make everyone see the funny side of this gargantuan gag! It's entertainment, it's education...IT'S EDUMATAINMENT!

[ Yep, sure is because you're crazy, Joker. Parsee had a raised eyebrow through the whole of it, but it does have her attention - a human mind that's cracked? It sounded like he would fit in with the youkai. He sounded a little fun, too.
