So... the year of stupidity continues.
Somehow I managed to fall down the stairs last night (and no, that isn't a metaphor for "my boyfriend's beating me" - I really fell down the stairs), and I scraped up my elbows really good... to the point where I at least have a bone bruise on my left one, which is also aggravating my left wrist which always

- Any of the Halloween movies (except the newest one by Rob Zombie which has pictures of dead animals and a scene were he kills his pet rat as a kid) would also be good - it has a lot of slasher killing scenes but relatively small amounts of blood.
- Friday the 13th might be fine. Jason's head is deformed but it's covered up in all of the movies (in a few of the movies there is one scene were his mask comes off but it's really quick). In the second sequel there is the mummified head of Jason's mother at the end.
- The first two Hellraiser movies are good, in that "this movie is so bad it's good" sort of way. I saw the third one and was disgusted by the lack of originality.
Can you tell I'm a fan of cheesy horror flicks? :)
- Silence of the Lambs? There is a head in some embalming fluid for one short scene, and it shows a scene of a guy cutting his face off (but I don't think they show any bloodiness, just him waving the broken glass around I'm pretty sure.) Definitely stay away from Hannibal.
- Jacob's Ladder is a good psychological thriller. It's based upon this guy's memories from the Vietnam War and their connection with all the freaky stuff going on in his life at the present.
- Don't forget the Charlie Brown Halloween Special.
- Hocus Pocuc is also a very fun Halloween flick to watch.
Christian (who watches a huge amount of horror movies) saw Rosemary's Baby and thought it was horribly bad, and not in the good way.
I'm sure there are plenty more that I can tell you about but I can't think of them at the moment. I hope my suggestions help!

I asked about Rosemary's Baby because I read the book and loved it. Halle has a copy of it if you're interested - it's like a 3 hour read. Loved the Stepford Wives too (same author), but hated the new adaptation. Looking forward to seeing the older version.
