Weapons of Hedge Destruction...
Today was a great day!
It started off well when Sue, Xuxu and I went to Supa Golf (Golf with bigger clubs, balls and much shorter fairways). I have only played golf twice before and I really - and I mean really - sucked at it! I even sucked at it today but it was all the better because I won! I know that's not saying much considering I beat an 8 year old girl and Sue, who has always said how bad she is at golf, but I take my wins whenever I can get 'em. They are few and far between. :)
By the way, I only won by two strokes and that was because I fluked two holes at one under par each. The rest were like four or five over par each. It was actually a really close game.
On the way back we went to my Mums to get the hedge trimmer, to do our garden with, and their esky for camping. We only meant to stay for five minutes but when Garth says, "do ya wanna beer", who am I to argue? Thirst quenched it was on to the main show...
Hedge trimming and the POWER TOOL I got to use. Ahhh, a man and his power tools! The joy of a job well done and getting to tell others what to do - "Pick up that debris!"; "Sweep that area over there!"; "Get me some water!". For an hour and a half I was happier than a politician that HADN'T met Brian Burke!

Well I actually am only writing this update because I needed an excuse to test the embeding of videos in LJ. I took a video with my crappy camera phone of the garden after we finished the big clean up. I know the place still looks a bit of a mess but you should have seen it BEFORE!
