Ahh... It is so good to have my computer up and running again!
You know what that means? You got it! I can once again partake in the joys of simulated helicopter flight. (Umm... maybe you actually didn't get it. :) )
The flight models are very realistic on certain helicopters, that are available as free downloads. All you need is M$ Flight Simulator, a joystick with a twist-grip or pedals and lots and lots and lots of time to practice what is probably one the most difficult flying tasks you can do. The way I see it, given the cost of real heli flying, this is the closest you are going to get to knowing the ins and outs. That been said, if I had the dough - $270/hour - I'd be doing the real thing everyday!
I mean, hey, you gotta love anything that involves using something called a "joystick". :)
You can visit Hovercontrol over there --> in my links. Its a great place to start. Here is my Hovercontrol forum signature picture for your perusal. Even at this low res it will give you an idea of the detail involved (click it to see its' real size):
Seeing as I am in a picture posting mood, here is a pic of pizza I made tonite (no need to click it - I uploaded it the same size as it appears here):
Yum! Sue and Xuxu loved it too. I have been making this for a while now and I think I finally have got the dough right.
Soon I will be camping!!! I think even Sue is looking forward to going - well who'd a thunk it!
THE PIXIES ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
