Ever the charmer Rep. Steve King thinks that in order to not be discriminated against, gay people should not "wear their sexuality on their sleeves", whatever the hell that means.  That is seriously his argument against ENDA.

Never mind the fact that it would protect everyone from discrimination -including *gasp* straight people.  It's much like the Matthew Shepard Act, which keeps people from committing criminal acts against you, even if the people are attacking you for being heterosexual and cisgender.  Because that's the dirty little secret about anti-discrimination laws that the right in the US don't want people to know, especially if the law protects LGBT folks from discrimination and violence based in bigotry.
