Didn't get to Dragoncon. For many, many reasons. But one of them is the aforementioned new job, which is turning out to be awesome.

Next year, though.

But I do have great big flaily opinions about the Twelfth Doctor! ( Unspoilery flail under here. )

( LoK: the Bolin thing, or why I have zero interest in keeping up with the series right now; tw: cartoon characters committing assault )

So: Pacific Rim. I saw it twice, can't stop listening to the soundtrack, am even writing crossover/fusion fic with Tron characters, etc. ( But I am conflicted about Mako Mori. )

The Crimson Horror: it's official, Matt Smith is made of rubber. Too short to give the large cast anything more than a few big moments each, but lovely Victorian horrorscience with only a few minor quibbles about the script-editing, and ( reference spoiler!! )

Doctor Who spoilerpost, I-finally-got-this-written edition: Journey to the Center of the TARDIS.
