Test tomorrow. Footmarks, fingerprints, and firearms, along with other forensics stuff. Urgh for the test, but glee for the subject. There's something terribly thrilling about forensics.

On a whim, I posted a nitpicky question on doctorwho. 48 replies in six hours..... no denying that community's alive and kicking. *cackle* They posted some pretty neat theories too. Cushing movie references for the win! I love my fandom.

And apropos to one of my other fandoms -- I just realized Harry can't be a Horcrux! Voldemort killed two people in Godric's Hollow (that we know of). He killed James downstairs and then went up for Lily and Harry. When he killed Lily, his use of the Avada Kedavra spell tore his soul, and he had an opportunity to create a Horcrux. But he wouldn't have used Harry, because he intended to kill him next, and a year-old corpse doesn't fit in with the rest of his historic objects.

Come to think of it, there could easily be a Horcrux or two at Godric's Hollow. If Voldemort was making Horcruxes out of significant murders, might he not have brought along three potential receptacles, one for each Potter on his hit list? Either some Death Eater(s) accompanied him and took them away after his downfall, or they're still there. And Harry's going to Godric's Hollow in the seventh book. Sounds like a clue to me.
