*too busy for proper post*

Hmm, looks like LJ saved the draft for this entry... which is nice, as I didn't finish writing it the other day and it's saved on the home computer. Anyway, nothing much has been going on here, except more snow.

Well, sensei did say we would be feeling those stretches the next day. *rubs aching muscles* Yoga: it's interesting, but I'm glad we don't do it all the time.

I was running my eye through this Doctor Who Friending Meme and started wondering... what constitutes a fandom that one 'has'? For example, I wildly adore NCIS but have done nothing with it but make a few icons; I wrote X-Men fic but will probably not make a more thorough exploration of that enormous universe than I already have; I will probably never write LOTR fic and yet it is among my trilogy of favorite trilogies of all time; I am writing a Highlander fic without ever having seen a single episode; there are a bunch of things I quite like but would not pounce on much if I randomly crossed their path (POTC, Cowboy Bebop, The Matrix) and a bunch of things (Lost, Xena, B5, Battlestar Galactica, Pushing Daisies) I would probably pounce on if I saw them but haven't managed to yet..... good subject for a meme if I get around to composing one.

Here's a random sketch of my three favorite Naruto senseis: Gai, Kakashi, and Iruka.

Also, I may have been a Naruto fan for a bit too long: narukorp amuses me far too much. And they don't have a Gai. It's a good thing the game appears to rely upon an inordinate mass of specific internal history that would have to be navigated before understanding anything that goes on, or... let's just say I have a sufficient number of active characters already.

t3h, art, martial arts, naruto, sf
