It seems like I've been studying for this test forever. On the plus side, I now have a good basic knowledge set about CPUs, LANs, processing components, data representation, and the like. Not enough to describe to anyone else, but enough to recognize the information when I need it.

We had a TRS-80 when I was a kid: this enormous green-and-white computer that played the William Tell Overture one synthesized note at a time (or was that its successor?) and had silly, dinky computer games where ASCII characters moved across the screen in ASCII increments. Whoo, look at us go.
