Don't blink, don't close your eyes, but most of all don't apologize.

All that music I downloaded, I finally listened to.  now my playlist is hella bigger now. the most populous band at this point is Matt Pond PA, with 5 albums, and also holding the spot for Most Played with "Emblems". I like the band so much, I even wrote them a wikipedia article for their upcoming album, "Last Light." at this point, some of the notable new bands I've discovered are: Sherwood, Qiuetdrive, Saosin, Copeland, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. the last one is a swing band from the late 90's. they even played the Superbowl Half  Time Show in 1998, I think. anyway, all the ones I downloaded are pretty awesome. After that, I decided to go through my playlist, looking at all the bands on there, and look them up on Wikipedia. I took note of the ones that have new albums, or the ones that have albums I haven't downloaded yet, and listed them down. I believe I have over 30 bands coming out with albums by June. so that'll be pretty sweet. alot of bands are releasing new albums in 2007. 2006 saw a few bands with new albums, but I do recall alot of them touring, which would explain why.

Right now, I'm trying to install Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. I spent quite a bit of time downloading it, and now that it isn't working, it's kind of pissing me off. it says that Data1.cab is corrupted. it just did the same thing again. I think I just made a coaster. I should have downloaded a different version. shoulda known that one was bad when I saw it was in a strange file format.

in semi-related news, my computer has been pissing me off lately. more so than usual. I don't remember if I mentioned that I blew the dust out with compressed air, but I did. after that, the chipset fan started working again, but now it won't start. I'm reeeally starting to wish I got the version of my motherboard that came with a heatsink instead of a fan. I'll be sure to list that next time. Also, my computer is just plain fucked. I don't know how it's happened, but I'm certain that I'll have to reload Windows.it's still doing that strange thing where the 2nd CPU Core uses 100% of it's resources. it's really annoying. it's doing it right now, and it's been getting worse. it started off around 42%, and it's been steadily climbing up to a median of 56% now. it's spilling over into the other core. If I reload Windows, and it's still doing that, then I'm just gonna go ahead and use Intel CPU's next time I'm searching for a new motherboard and Processor.

So this morning, I went to see Caressa, since i was there hella early. I got there at 7:15, which is 7 minutes earlier than normal. I was just standing there waiting for her to get there, and when she did, I went up and said hi, and was talking to her and stuff. when she had all her stuff down, she invited me and the other person who was there to play soccer with another kid named Andrew. they were all bouncing a soccer ball around and it looked like they were having fun. and Caressa was playing with her bouncy ball. haha. I thought it was fun kicking the ball like a hacky sack, which reminds me that my hacky sack is still on the roof of TEC. it was cool and all.
I think I'm attracted to bright colours. when I was saying goodbye to Caressa, there was this girl with neon pink eyeliner, and that attracted me like a moth to flame. hahaha! I was going to introduce myself to her, but Caressa said "No! She's mine!! Go talk to her, she has pink hair!" hahaha! both of the girls, the one with pink eyeliner, and the one with pink hair, were cute. I think they were both freshman, though, and I'm not big on dating girls 4 years younger than me. 3 is pushing it. lol. anyway, I gave Caressa a hug, and went on my way, without saying much more than "hi" to both of the girls. well, to Pink Eyeliner, I did say "hey, you have pink eyeliner. hi, I'm Jesse." hahahaha! I don't know why it's funny, but it is.

speaking of funny, apparently Vanessa was talking to a guy named Tyler, and when she asked him to rate him on a scale from 1-10, he said her personality gets an 8, and her lips get a 7.5, cause she's black. when she told me that, I burst out laughing, and that pissed her off so badly... I felt stupid. but damn is that funny! lol. she's not mad at me anymore, so it's all good. yesterday, she said she wanted to see me, and asked if I wanted to come over. I said sure. and then she mentioned that her parents weren't home and asked if I had any condoms.  I said I would come over, but truthfully, I didn't want to. it's not cause she's black, or cause I'm gay (as some people think), or because I didn't have any condoms and couldn't get any for about an hour. it's because I'm kind of afraid of have someone look at me critically. I'm sure that as soon as I took my shirt off she would have said that I have a belly or anything else. I'm also just adverse to having sex with someone I'm not very close to. you could say I like romance. anyway, it's good I didn't go, because her parents came home about half an hour later.

that brings me to my next subject: girls. I haven't really liked any since Ariana dumped me, and yet there's been at least 6 I could have asked out and actually had a decent shot with. there's only 2 girls I actually liked (and still do, in some small way): that's Caressa and Jordan. even if those two and Ariana were standing in front of me, and I knew that Caressa and Jordan would do me right there if I chose them, and I only had a slight chance with Ariana... I'm almost certain I would still choose her. I know she's moved on, and I know that in some way, I have too, but  sometimes, I just can't imagine myself with anyone else... still. in some way, I'm picky, and deliberately not asking any girls out because I don't really want to move on. I'm afraid of serious relationships, but I really do want to find someone. maybe I'm just not ready yet. maybe I really haven't found anyone who's really for me.

Prom tickets are selling when Spring Break ends, and I kind of want to go, but I don't have a date yet. maybe I'll eventually find someone who wants to go with me. lol. I doubt it, though.

Lastly, I finished writing the story "Beyond The Thirteenth Floor." if none of you remember, I wrote it for Caressa on her birthday, really, really fast. the entire thing was written in the space of about 8 hours. well, I edited it, heavily, and pretty much rewrote most of it, and made it epistolary. that means it's told through journal entries or diary. in this case, it's told through an internal report from Murphy, the main character. I even retitled it, with the name "Strange Places Have Strange People". I really like it now. it's hella confusing, but it's hella funny. if anyone on here wants to read it, I'd welcome it, and the story I'm writing now, "Machinima" is finally coming together. when I finish it, I'm going to get started on what could be considered a sequel of some sorts to Strange Places. Murphy is nowhere in it, though, and it centers around Six taking a business trip to garbage island. I think it sounds like fun.
