Movies that I saw today - spoilers not hidden
Adventureland : wow... horrible... this is one of those stories of quiet desperation. The movie is set in 1987 and the main character is a college student on his way to Columbia for a Masters in Journalism. Unfortunately his parents have just had a major reduction in income so the main character isn't able to go on his European trip and has to find a summer job. The only job available to him is at a local amusement park.
My thoughts: ugh... James Brennan is in love with Kristen Stewart, who happens to be sleeping with a married Ryan Reynolds (the apparent age difference is kind of off putting). Kristen Stewart is also sort of in love James Brennan, but he is also being pursued by an older women. I am not sure what the point of the movie was because I left in the middle. Everyone was drinking heavily and smoking pot. Whatever...
