Great White Buffalo

So a brief update just to clean up cobwebs.
I probably should not be online right now because the weather is so nice.
I have a case of spring fever of sorts.
Psyched for the weekend.
Psyched for today and tomorrow.
I think I'll got for a run or a walk tomorrow.
Do some traveling around town.
Get some ice cream somewhere.

I saw Hot Tub Machine...twice.
Good stuff.
I was pretty down in the last entry, but with the weather on the upswing, and school going relatively well, I am just in a better mood. I feel awfully nostalgic sometimes. I put my hands in my pockets and squint over at the Pru and recall times spent in the city as a kid. I think of all the little things that excited me. The traffic, the museums, The Phoenix, the train. All of these things I appreciate so much because I am immersed in them. And for a few moments I forget about papers, and I forget about jobs, and I forget about the end of the year at school.
All of my friends from home are 1/4 done with their education. And I'm sure I said the same thing in high school, that I had conquered a year but still had so much more to go. I don't know entirely what I'm getting at, I'm just appreciative of the memories soon to be made. I love this.

I worked this weekend.
I have the Lobster scars to prove it.
It's both refreshing and demoralizing to be working again.
I like the money and the routine, but don't enjoy the effort I put in relative to the customer satisfaction+pay+employee morale.
But next summer I think I'll have a co-op or at least an internship, so I gotta savor the madness while I can.

Last night as I was coming back from the Burg, I saw the bridge over the Charles and I thought about just how life has taken a turn for the better since September, and I looked at the city skyline being reflected in the water, I felt like Bilbo Baggins.
