Ahh, I'm doin' better now methinks.
Just got back from paintballing. Was fun as usual. Except I got ripped up. Not shot, ripped up from the flora. In fact, my body was only hit 2 different rounds. The rest hit my gun etc. One of the two I got fuckin DRILLED though. Like 3 balls hit me at once in mid-step and I get knocked on the ground. I sat up to see if any busted and - pop pop - two more nail me. One hit me right in the wrist and broke the skin lol. Hurt pretty bad. But I was amused to hear Tamra(sp?) when I was walking away after she nailed me say, "Are you okay?" "Hah, yeah."
Then she and Levi came up to the waiting area and she said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shoot you..."
"You didn't mean to shoot me? Haha"
"Well, not like that."
"Eh, it's paintball, that's what you're sposed to do."
The rest of my damage was pretty much self inflicted. So many thorn bushes out there, my arms are all scraped to hell. Got more than one in my skin I can tell you that. Looks like I got in a fight with a cat. I also jacked my knee up hopping into a creek (which by the way I ended up in quite often, getting drenched more than once from slipping on the mud). The slips sucked. I was dodging four dudes trying to hide in the plants, then the next thing I know I'm swimmin back to the bank cuz I fell in. My hopper had flown off, spilling all of my ammo but like 5 shots...so I surrendered.
We played some little kids though. The first game they beat us which I thought was pretty funny. Seemed to piss everyone else off though. So we played em again and won. Demolished em in fact. I felt kinda bad though, cuz I shot the last kid. Drilled him right in the chest two times and hear this tiny little voice go "ow...I'm hit!" Man, I just shot a little kid...and that is just plain fuckin' SWEET! That little bastard deserved it haha. OMFGWTFPWNT! and OWNED! to boot.
So I was wet, beaten/torn-up, and injured half of the day, but it was a blast. Now for the second half I'll just be beaten/torn-up and injured.
