Bob.
Last night, I saw Bob Mould perform at Neumo's. This is the sixth (maybe seventh?) time I've seen him, and he never fails to disappoint. Wikipedia just told me that today is his 49th birthday. He can still muster up an incredible level of energy, even when performing songs he wrote 25 years ago. I'm exhausted today, but it was worth it.
In his career (spanning the better part of three decades now), he's played punk, alterna-pop, brooding acoustic ballads, and electronica. Not only has he done it all, he's done it all incredibly well.
