Charlie pulled back from whisky-stained lips, "I'm not sleeping with you, you know."
He looked at her, and she could see the intense sparks flying out of his eyes, could taste whisky-fueled kisses when she licked her lips.
Nodding once, he growled, "I know. Much as I'd like you too, I know you ain't goin' too. Makes me respect you more." He wrapped his palm around the back of her neck and pulled her in towards him. She kissed him briefly, her hands laying flat on his chest. She could feel the thrum-beat of his heart under her hands, tight muscle flexing as her skin grew warm on him.
"I want too," she whispered, "But I don't want to get hurt."
"I know what hurts like," he whispered back, breath ghosting over her cheek, "And I don't want that for no one."
Leaning back away from him, she stared at him through the dark, "Tell me about her."
Cocking an eyebrow and shooting her a look that shouted 'Dean' to her, for the first time the whole evening, and asking "You sure?" she nodded.
"Right," he took a breath, running a hand through his hair and leaning back into his seat, hands once more wrapped around his glass, "Well, for a start he wasn't a 'her'. He was a he. Don't really know how it started. We met on set, started hangin' out and bein' so far away from our families I guess we got a bit lonely. 'M not gay," he shot her a look at this point, to see how she was taking the news that he had slept with a guy, "But there was somethin' there. Somethin' between us that, I guess, neither of us could ignore. Kinda like what I'm feelin' here with you. Felt it this mornin', and didn't think I'd ever be feelin' it again, specially not this quick, you know? And, I don't know. I guess keepin' it all a secret got too much of him and he broke it off right before I left for hiatus. Don't know how we're goin' to keep on workin' together."
Charlie was sitting upright in her seat, mouth open wide. Gasping for air a little, she gulped, "It wasn't Jared you were sleeping with, was it?"
It was Jensen's turn to gape at her, "How the fuck does everyone know about it?"
"It's very obvious," she told him, matter-of-factly, "In fact, people on the internet write fan-fiction about it."
He nodded, "Yeah, I know about that. Jared stumbled across it about a month after the first time we, you know, and thought it was hysterical."
"You had something pretty special," she placed the tips of her fingers on the warmth of his arm, "And I'm sorry it's gone."
Shrugging, Jensen looked into the middle distance, eyes somewhere else, "Guess I just have to be more careful who I give my heart to."
"I did that," she told him, looking away, anywhere but at him, "Hoping to find the perfect guy. The one that lives up to all the fantasies a girl has, and I'm really yet to find him. I haven't ever felt that spark, that instant connection, with anyone." This time she did look at him, eyes liquid chocolate, "And then there was you."
"And then there was me," he repeated, softer.
"It probably sounds really stupid, fangirlish," she ran a hand through the back of her hair nervously, "But there was something there before I even met you. I felt something, something I've never felt before, just looking at pictures of you. I'm crazy, but there it is."
"Love at first sight."
"Not love," she tapped him on the arm, "I've known you, the real you, for about a day. All I knew before was the media Jensen. Now I feel as though I know some more of you, the deeper part that you bury for the media and the fans and the cameras."
"And do you like the real Jensen?" he asked, leaning towards her, his forearm resting on the arm of her chair.
"More than the media Jensen," she replied, leaning up to kiss him lightly on the lips, "And I think I could like him more, the more time I spend with him."
"In that case," he said, after kissing her back, "You better call me Jen."
"Jen," she whispered, the name falling off her lips.
Smiling he leaned back and took a sip of his drink, "And you don't mind that I've slept with a guy? That I'm bi, or whatever you wanna call it?"
Shaking her head vehemently, she replied, "No, not at all. It's kinda a turn-on. Shows you're up for anything, I guess."
He laughed at her, messing up her hair and pushing her head lightly away from him, "Glad we got that all cleared up."
"Me too. Jen?"
"Yeah."
"I think I'm ready to have sex now."
