I saw Georgetown University today. It was beautiful. It reminded me a lot of Oxford. There is like a snowball's chance in hell that I could get in, but even if I did two credit hours there costs more than a year's tuition at NCF. It is like the 4th most expensive school in the US. My dad would try to work something out but I dunno if I could ask him to pay for something like that. Not that George Washington and American are that much better.
We left DC and went through NYC on the way to Connecticut. I decided that there wasn't enough time to go into NYC to look at NYU so all I saw was the Bronx. Not a nice view. We got into Connecticut and here I was thinking that it was kinda like Florida in the Summer- you know, warm. Nope. It is in the 50s with me in shorts and a tank top. Not fun. Also, surprisingly, there are some pretty rough neighborhoods in Connecticut. The university I'm looking at is in one. I'm checking out the campus tomorrow and I seem to like the program so I might be able to ignore the neighborhood.
