Thursday. like woah.
Its thursday already. the week went slow then fast. still thinking about katrina. I realized while tlaking with my dad ill never be able to experiance new orleans as it was. Tulane Univ. is gone. IN one generation little kids will be like, whaats tulane?? Martigras? Omg thats sooo 2000. And its not funny, its sad. Yeah, new orleans was a dump in some parts, but it still showed strong southern culture, unlike newhere else. My Dad sed it was like no other experiance. Spring Berak 06', where will all the college kids go. The new orleans jazz, and Uncle bens and all those cultural things, wiped out. BUt mayeb that was the problem. They were stuck back in the early 1900s. Its kinda sad, thats all, to think no one was prepared for it, and so much history is destroyed.
At least theres something to learn from it.
Anyways...
marching band tonight, my neck is killing me. I can turn it to the right now, which is better, but it hurts reely bad. been tired lately, but thats ok, ill perk up sooner or later. Math hw... of course. I hate all tthe work but its worth it i gess... at least i can do my homework with electricity and eat and even go out of the house to get to school.
congrats to oklahoma pplzez on their roles. looks lieka good play, i read the script.
Homecoming is in a month ... i want a yeloow dress that twirles *giggle*... i think ill appreciate it even more...
Actually i was thinking of talking to student council and telling them that maybe the school can add on 5 bucks or ten to the tickets and donate it to the relief funding... but i dont know if theyll listen.
