such_heights posted an absolutely GORGEOUS photo of Angel Coulby today, and I felt compelled to make icons.

Bauble Quotes:
* semloker Þat ever he syȝe / soth moȝt no mon say - "no man might truly say that he ever saw [a woman] equally [good] looking"; a description of Guinevere from Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
* Ryght faire shuldres and body long and She was lyk to torch bryght are both descriptions of the Black Knight's lady-love, from Chaucer's Book of the Duchess
I'd love to do more of these, but I can't think of good quotes to put on them. Anyone got good descriptions of lovely women that they feel like sharing? Bonus points if they're medieval, but negative points if they're white-ness oriented. I had enough trouble finding descriptions of the Duchess that weren't all "white this white that pale the other".
Ed again - I'm working off a laptop here. Can someone tell me if the skin tone on the last three has come out weirdly reddish? It looks fine on my laptop, but I just plugged the laptop into the TV and it looks AWFUL on the TV.
