* Finished my hpvalensmut fic and have received it back from beta. Now, I just need to make the few edits, read it over again, and send it off. *dances* I really like it, though it's one that I'm not sure will be liked by others. I do think it fits the request and that the recipient should like it, which is what really matters. Whee.

It's a shame I can't share my most excellent cough medicine with you. That stuff is powerful good (but it tastes disgusting).

I wish you could! I've actually been bad and not tried any medications for this, which might be one reason it won't go away. :( I got cough drops today, though, so maybe those will help! Feel better!

I was trying to survive only on Strepsils as well, and while they certainly did help some, they couldn't keep up with the cough during the night. As I discovered to my cost the fatefull night where I barely slept at all.

The really annoying thing is, though, that I suspect mine was a bacterial infection and if I had only gone to see the doctor much sooner he could have given me some penicillin and it wouldn't have dragged out like this. Eh well. Lesson learned and next time I'll probably be just as stupid and not get it looked at. :)

No worries! Do you want to end it there? It seemed a good spot so I was waiting to find out. We can assume they found him a kitten, and she'll mention him to Cedric when she sees him again :)

I loved the fight between Ron and Hermione on stoatshead_hill. Well, not loved, exactly, but you know what I mean. :D Poor Hermione.

Haha! I know what you mean. It was draining and unexpected, but we felt it turned out really IC and just sadly seemed inevitable. I'm glad it read okay! ♥ And Hermione says that if Lav lets Ron get away with making her cook and clean all the time, she'll be disappointed as Lav needs to smack him upside the head! *grin*

LOL. Without Hermione around Ron might be in for a bit of a shock! Lavender's kind of scared about ever running into Hermione.

Hee! She doesn't need to be scared. Hermione just wants Ron happy, really, and Lavender seems to make him that. We'll have to let them run into each other sometime. :D

Congrats for having finished the valensmut - a state which my muse has, sadly, denied me until now. But I'm typing away at it...

Totally understand why you won't do any exchanges/ficathons anymore. It's really annoying if you have such commitments (especially in exchanges) and your muse doesn't play along, isn't it?

1. At the moment, his original player has finally managed to get a new computer and asked if we can give her until 1/20 to bring him more active due to the computer crashing etc. If she's not active by that time, he will be open again.
2. His backstory is pretty open. She had a nice working of his character sheet that we liked a lot with him being older than Rodolphus and not at all very into DE stuff or fond of Bellatrix. Beyond that, I can't remember details. :)
