Birthday Day.
On my ACTUAL birthday today, all my friends were busy except Sara who I had not even seen much in the last year. Which goes against my policy have having my birthdays reflect who I have hung out with in the last year. Yet we had one of my best birthday days I have had in NYC in a long time. We went to Governors Island and spent the day wandering around the old buildings, the idilic country looking streets and the renovated parks with hammock groves surrounded by wild flowers. We took the boat to Brooklyn, walked up to Dumbo and had dinner in Little Italy at PARM. It was just really nice. Perfect summer day! Nice simple birthday.
