Bonus time is coming - which sets me thinking, what keeps someone going in his/her job?
I've been working for four years come June, and within these four years, I've experienced periods of high motivation, periods where I'm just earning my keep, periods when I feel like quitting, periods when I think "is it time to move on?"...
I look around me and I see people/colleagues who've been in the same job for years, some perhaps even longer than since I've been born. At the other extreme, I have friends who change jobs every year (pay increment every time! woot!).
Oh wells, four years. We'll see...
