"I've got a mind of my own"
Things have been up and down, up and down. I got a job. And I LOVE it. I actually look forward to Mondays. Its at Charter Communications call center. Charter is a cable and high speed internet provider. The call center is in Vancouver, even though we don't have Charter around here, but we service lots of areas around us. Our call center takes calls from its customers throughout WA, OR, North Cali, parts of Idaho and bits of Nevada. I'll be taking calls for billing, technical/repairs, PPV, up/downgrades and whatnot. They have awesome benefits and great wages, plus TONS of bonuses, rewards & prizes and chances for overtime. I've been there for 3 weeks and I've already got a $2 raise :) But thats cause I signed up for a split shift. I work Saturday-Wednesday 8-12 then 6-10, Thurs and Fri off. I love my schedule but every 6 months it changes, and in August is the 6th month schedule bid. Oh well....sigh, its so so nice to have money. I've bought Lane some little things here and there, myself some CDs and whatnot. Next up, save and rent a house. Maybe even take the plunge and BUY one. Yikes, that makes me nervous typing that even. lol
As for my personal life, lets just settle with things are good. Almost Great....
I've been recalling old memories lately. Especially ones with the great Ms. Katie Dupre. Like the time we were in the car looking at a book of sex positions at a stop light and a man pulled up next to us saying something like "that stuff can get you in trouble" and then we laugh and say "we knooow!" then laugh some more and point to my obviously pregnant belly. hahaha oh me. oh my. I really need to call her soon....and then a lot of highschool memories. Like hanging out in the MIA room. Great people that I wonder about and how they're doing. Champ. Staci. Amy. Heather. Eliot. Edith. I wonder what that crazy gal is up to these days. And Conyne. Man I miss that old man....I hope everyone is happy and healthy and still in touch with their inner art schooler. I hope you all are using your 5 voices. Scientist voice, Mathematician haha.....
